Is the initial consultation charged, and how does it proceed?
During the preliminary consultation, we listen to your dispute, examine your documents, and provide a general assessment of your legal situation. At the end of the consultation, the possible courses of action and an approximate timeline will become clear. The consultation fee, within the framework of bar association recommended tariffs, is communicated before the meeting.
How are attorney fees determined?
Fees are determined in writing before the process begins, based on the nature and scope of the work, and the Turkish Bar Association's minimum fee schedule. There are no surprise costs.
How do I track the status of my case?
You will be informed in writing of every important development; you can also schedule an appointment to discuss your case status one-on-one. Your file is regularly checked via UYAP (National Judiciary Informatics System).
Do you work with clients outside the city?
Yes. Consultations can be conducted online as needed; representation for hearings and proceedings is provided in courthouses in Antalya and its vicinity.
Can I ask questions via WhatsApp?
You can use our WhatsApp line for appointment requests and general information. However, questions requiring legal evaluation are addressed during a preliminary consultation for accuracy.
Can I know in advance how long my case will take?
A definite time commitment is not legally possible; however, a realistic timeline range based on judicial practice in similar cases will be shared during the preliminary consultation.
How should I prepare my documents for the consultation?
It is sufficient to bring all relevant documents, such as contracts, notices, receipts, and message records, in chronological order. Any missing documents will be identified together during the consultation.
Where is your office, and is there parking?
Our office is at Fabrikalar Mah. Hasan Tahsin Cad. Serkan Plaza No: 1 D: 5, Kepez/Antalya. The plaza has its own car park and free parking is available nearby; a wheelchair-accessible parking space and restroom are provided.
How do I issue a power of attorney, and when is it needed?
To represent you in litigation or enforcement proceedings, a power of attorney for a lawyer is drawn up at a notary; your ID and our office details are sufficient. Some cases, such as divorce, require a power of attorney with a photograph. If you are abroad it can be issued at a Turkish consulate; we tell you which type is needed at the first meeting.
My case was with another lawyer; can you take it over?
Yes. The UYAP court records and the documents you hold are enough for us to review the file; once the previous mandate is ended and the new power of attorney is filed, the case passes to us. We check the deadline calendar on day one so that no time limit is missed during the handover.
Can I attend a mediation session on my own?
You can; however, in employment and commercial disputes an agreement reached at the table is final and binding, and the same matter cannot be litigated again. We therefore recommend a calculation and strategy session before the meeting and, where possible, attending with your lawyer.
Is a lawyer mandatory when giving a statement in a criminal investigation?
Not mandatory, but a strong safeguard. You have the right to request defence counsel at every stage; for offences carrying a minimum sentence of more than five years and for suspects under eighteen, appointment of counsel is required by law. A short assessment before the statement prevents mistakes that cannot be undone later.
Which documents should I bring to the meeting?
Bring everything related to the matter — contract, formal notice, receipts, title deed, payslips, messages and e-mail correspondence — in date order. The meeting goes ahead even if documents are missing; gaps are identified together and we plan where to obtain them.
